From Neal - Belgium King of all Cyclists

About a mile into Belgium we picked up a cycle lane which continued all the way to Brugge, through countryside, towns and villages!!! Cyclists are everywhere. Even more impressive was that cyclists have pre-eminence on all the roads. You don't have to stop at all as you go through junctions and across roads. They even slow down and stop if they are in front of you when they want to and can turn right. Cyclists are king of the road. It takes a little getting used to. Bravo to the belgians though!!!!
